At Golf de Andratx, we are firmly committed to implementing sustainable actions that protect and preserve our natural environment. Below are some of the initiatives we have adopted to reduce our environmental impact and promote a greener and more responsible future.

Sustainable commitment on wheels
At Golf de Andratx we are committed to a more efficient and environmentally friendly mobility. Therefore, we have incorporated a new fleet of electric buggies from the company Teycars.
These 100% electric, silent and emission-free vehicles offer a safe, comfortable and versatile driving experience. Thanks to their reinforced frame, four-wheel hydraulic braking and intelligent loading system, they guarantee reliability and energy efficiency both on the road and in the club's logistical tasks.

Saving energy with more efficient pumps
We have implemented new water pumps that significantly reduce energy consumption, thus optimizing the use of resources in our operations. This improvement not only reduces our environmental impact, but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability and efficiency in water management.

Reduction of irrigable areas with pine bark
We have replaced the grass with pine bark in areas not dedicated to play in order to reduce irrigable areas, which allows us to optimize water use and minimize environmental impact. This action also contributes to reducing maintenance costs by eliminating the need for frequent watering and intensive care in these areas, supporting our commitment to sustainability.

SignoTec
At Golf de Andratx, we are committed to being more environmentally friendly by reducing the use of paper in the administration and promoting the digitalization of the club. Since May 2023, we have implemented the electronic signature system from SignoTeca leader in sustainable technology, allowing us to eliminate the use of paper completely. We plan to gradually expand this tool to more documents, benefiting both customers, employees, and the environment.
Drinking water dispenser and reusable water bottles
2021
With the installation of a free water dispenser and the introduction of reusable aluminum bottles, we have eliminated the use of 100,000 plastic bottles per year in our facilities. This change reduces our environmental footprint and encourages more sustainable habits among our members and visitors, as part of our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
2020
Solar Panels
With the installation of solar panels, we have reduced our CO2 emissions by 78.2 tons per year, which is equivalent to avoiding a flight of 1,955 kilometers, to the absorption of CO2 by 2,005 trees, or to preventing a car from traveling 313,890 kilometers.
These achievements reflect our commitment to sustainability by opting for solar energy, significantly reducing our carbon footprint and promoting a clean energy source. We will continue to expand our green initiatives to make a positive contribution to the environment.
Amenities
2019
In our bathrooms and locker rooms, we have adopted shower gel and shampoo in biodegradable containers and with ingredients not tested on animals from the Natural Lab Toiletries Line. This choice reflects our commitment to the environment and ethics. Biodegradable containers reduce pollution, while natural ingredients ensure sustainable products.
2018
Tees
To reduce our environmental impact, we have replaced the plastic tees in our store with bamboo tees. Bamboo is renewable, biodegradable and grows without pesticides or fertilizers.
In addition, the bamboo tees are durable and offer a high quality playing experience.
